Bottle Etching to support the WHAS Crusade for Children

by Todd Antz » Thu Dec 17, 2009 9:27 pm

Join us as Brown Forman brings in their laser bottle etcher to Keg Liquors on December 21st from 4:30 - 6:30 to create that perfect gift for the holidays. The system can etch Woodford Reserve - Bourbon 375ml's, 750ml's and 175ml bottles and Gentleman Jack 375's and 750ml's with any (appropriate) phrase to personalize a great gift for your friends or family (or yourself). The etching is free, all you need to do is buy the bottles from us. We'll also be sampling Woodford Reserve and Gentleman Jack during the tasting.

Can't make it on the 21st? You can pre-purchase your bottles and bring them in for the event, or leave them for us and pick them up later. Stop in soon, as we have a limted amount of gift sets of Woodford Reserve , and Gentleman Jack . This makes a great personalized Christmas gift.

We've also turned this into a charity event for the WHAS Crusade for Children. Keg Liquors will donate $1 for every bottle that is etched to the Crusade for Children. We will also be asking for donations for the Crusade as well. Keg Liquors will match the donations collected (up to $500).

Stop in, get a gift and help out a worthy cause!

If anyone is out shopping today, we are down to just a handful of Woodford and Gentleman Jack Gift sets. We still have plenty of the regular bottles available, but the gift sets are a nice bonus for the same price.

I'm happy and proud to report that we raised $200 for the WHAS Crusade for Children tonight with our bottle etching. Thanks to everyone who came and participated.

Thanks for supporting the Crusade, Todd. I spent many years pounding the pavement for the Crusade with the Fire Department(s). It is a homegrown success story that is very important to so many lives.
