Derby City Espresso goes on Hiatus (Honduras vacation)

by Matthew Landan » Mon Dec 14, 2009 11:05 pm

Hey everyone just wanted to give you a heads up that DCE will be closing for FIVE WHOLE WEEKS starting Monday December 21.

I'm taking some much needed vacation in Central America.

Derby City Espresso will be reopening on Monday January 25, 2010.

Thanks for all the support during the past 2.5 years the next 2.5 will be as good if not better!

I guess with that whole "military take over" plane tickets are pretty cheap. Roatan is supposed to be awesome though. Have fun!

I haven't been to Roatan for 20 years or so. I suspect the addition of an airport vs a landing strip, the cruise ships and paved roads have changed the island quite a bit.

In my dream last night (which was weird and wonderful) someone asked me where I was going; and I answered "Hunduras for 5 weeks" I think I have been on this forum for too long :D

Actually the constitutional crisis is all but over.
There were new elections a few weeks ago.
I actually purchased my ticket back in March for $250 long before the booted the President out.
nThanks for the well wishes everyone and I hope to see some of you Saturday night at our going away/holiday party and if not then next year!
