Expansion is good as busy as they are, but how about they open a location NOT in the east end?

Shiraz went out already? Wow. We only went there once, and didn't have the best experience. That seems like a weird location for Wild Eggs.

It'll feed the masses for people in Forrest Hills and others in Middletown. I think it's an interesting location. Anxious to see how they'll respond to it.

My office is pretty close to that location and I was a regular at that Shiraz. I was sorry to see them go, but you could tell from the business they were doing that they weren't going to make it. Wild Eggs seems like more of a destination place, though, so they may do better in that spot.

Not familiar with that area, is that right next to Haverty's and Starbucks up at the corner of Hurst and Shelbyville?

Speaking of Shiraz in the Lake Forest location; right before they closed, a gentleman in there told me they would be reopening in the Middletown Kroger shopping center sometime in December (or at least that is what I THOUGHT I heard). Any one know if they are indeed reopening at some point in Middletown?

Hello to everyone curious about the status of the Shiraz Mediterranean Grill that was located in the Landis Lakes Towne Center across from Lake Forest. As correctly stated we will not be reopening in Middletown next to Kroger as orginally planned. It seems the guy that owns the Hurstbourne location throughly enjoyed the bump in business he received after we closed and pressured the Akrami's to withdraw their original approval for us to move into Middletown. So.....we have decoupled from Shiraz and are starting our own venture in Prospect in the Hunters Ridge center just over the Jefferson/Oldham line. The base menu will include the kebabs grilled over plus some tasty additions. Hope to have the place open before Derby.
Also, Wild Eggs is taking our old spot and is one of the reasons we were able to get out of our lease with Faulkner. I wish them luck....it's a difficult location to market. Hope to see you at our new location and to those of you who supported our effort...thank you.
