Velocity sums up four new spots

In this week's Velocity, Lisa Hornung offers up one-paragraph mini-reviews of four newish spots. <b>Mojito</b> and the new <B>Milano's Café</b> outpost of Lentini's on Baxter won't come as any surprise to forumites, but I believe hers is the first public mention of <B>Café FuZion</b>, a Butchertown gay cafe that's open to everyone, and <B>Quills</B>, which sounds like a very pleasant coffee bar (serving Sunergos coffee) at the corner of Kentucky and Barret.

This is the location of the late (and lamented) Butchertown Pub. There have been attempts to do something with this place, all of which have failed.

Their website (fuzionnightclub.com) is interesting.

The cafe seems to be just a small part of the place. If they have taken over the whole facility that was the Butchertown Pub, they are aiming for a large operation.

Quills is in the old Democratic party headquarters for Louisville. Does anyone know where the current headquarters is?

Sorry. I am incorrect in my location. The old democratic headquarters is at Barret/Breckinridge and is still for rent or lease. Nice space in a cool location.
