Secrets of Louisville Chefs NEW cookbook

by Donna P » Sun Nov 29, 2009 4:21 pm

Well, what a wonderful afternoon at Borders. I was at the Shelbyville Road store and picked up the new Secrets of Louisville Chefs cookbook. Had no idea there was a new one. Great recipes! from most of Louisville top chefs. Uptown Cafe and Veranese are two of my favs and both had recipes I can't wait to try. Thank you to the great chefs of Louisville!

yeah, don't usually read C-J but did see the writeup this week. Saw it also at B&N--picked up a couple for gifts--appears to be professionally done and variety of recipes. Enjoyed the other editions.

I make it a must-purchase, simply as a source of inspiration and pride. We are so blessed to have so many talented professionals in our community!

(it makes me happy)

So the launch party for the new Secrets of Louisville Chefs cookbook was held this evening at Dolfinger’s, Shelbyville Road Plaza. Hors d'oeuvres wereserved by the chefs from Bourbons Bistro, Buck's, Jack Fry's, Limestone and The Oak Room, Napa River Grill, Varanese, Volare, and Z's Fusion. Lynn's Paradise Cafe was also suppose to be there but either I missed her station or she was a no show.

The food was totally awesome. The "tastes" were generous. We were planning on going out for some tapas afterward, but both of us were totally filled.
