..........Visiting soon, I m going to visit Louisille Stoneware.

Nearby, on Vine, the subject is located.....

The site certainly looks tempting for lunch or dinner......

Has any one visited there recently and is it open for business?

Thanks in advance,

We have eaten at the Coach Lamp frequently for both lunch and dinner and are huge fans. They have done several special occasion "Chef's Table" dinners for us and we have never been disappointed. The owner, Bill Darling, is most gracious and the staff most accomodating. To us, it is like dining with one's family as we have gotten to know them. Recently I took my sister-in-law from out of town there for lunch after shopping at Louisville Stoneware and she can't wait to go back. Soups esp. are outstanding. In all the numerous times we have eaten there, we have never had a less then stellar meal--it is not fussy food, just very good food. Also, they have a lovely patio area with some very good looking wall hangings of yesteryear Louisville landmarks--Stewart's, etc. Hope you can go and do enjoy it--we always do..

...........thank you for such a "glowing" report....We definitely will dine there.

Don t you wonder why it receives so little nortoriety including this Forum/

Did I miss somewhere where Mr Garr even reviewed ?? I ve so far only found it under the "Originals"...

From what you say, it looks like a "diamond not so much in the rough"..

Thanks again,

JJG Jr
