Grateful thanks to Butcher's Best! AGAIN!

by Ed Vermillion » Fri Nov 27, 2009 12:25 pm

Jimmy, Amy & the crew at Butcher's Best Meats in Prospect went above and beyond the call this Thanksgiving. They cooked, deboned and sliced up one of the finest turkey birds I've ever had the pleasure of eating for the staff working Metro 911 on 2nd Watch yesterday. For those serving the public away from their own families on the holidays it meant a great deal to all of us there. That is the true meaning of supporting your local business, they always give back. Have a happy, safe and prosperous holiday season Jimmy and thanks again!

With the exception of half a dozen visits during BBQ season, I haven't given Jimmy and the crew the business they deserve this year...One of my New Years resolutions is to make amends for this in the coming year...Even if Amy is a Steelers fan

Goes to show they are doing what they need to do, BRAVO! I know I went in there a year ago or so and asked for short ribs cut exactly the way i wanted them and rolled and tied, they did it!

Is Dave Clancy still whipping up burgers out there? Anybody know whether he's there daily?

Sent you a PM Robin. Glad to see Jimmy/Amy et. al. are doing great!! I think Mitch is now the burger Czar and is quite capable (though you still can't date my daughter even though she's 18). Wish them only the best!

That is really cool. I was already planning on heading there tomorrow for some lamb chops, but I will go out of my way to support them now!

Jimmy, Amy & Crew get another heartfelt thanks from the 2nd Watch crew at MetroSafe 911! They made sure that my crew had a great Christmas dinner while on duty. We had more than enough ham and goodies to feed our fine folks. I'll say it again and again; BUY LOCAL! These folks are our friends and neighbors and deserve our business for all they give back to the community. From everyone at MetroSafe 911 thanks for making our Christmas Merry while away from home and hearth. See you soon!
