Best Hot Wings in So. Indiana.

by JustinHammond » Tue Nov 24, 2009 3:20 pm

Are there any good wings in So. Indiana; New Albany, Jeff, Clarksville? All the wing topics only list Louisville restaurants. I'm going to be in New Albany tonight and I'm craving wings.

BW3 in Clarksville or Wings-To-Go on Charlestown Pike in New Albany (in front of the Meijer) come to mind. WTG if you like flavors beyond the normal offerings.

Everyone has an opinion...and mine is that I would rather rub atomic wing sauce in my eyes than to eat anything from BW3. In addition to serving up a heaping helping of food poisoning to an entire class of my students about a year ago...an event to which both the manager and the regional manager replied "so sue me"...They generally serve nothing but crappy commissary-like food. I'm still on a mission to find out the name of that regional manager...I'm thinking he's still got a serious ass kicking coming.

<sigh> There goes my "outside" voice again....Sorry.

I hate to say, but there is very little in the way of good wings on this side of the river, at least that I have found. I find BW3's average at best, Hooters is atrocious. The last time I went by Wings to Go on Charlestown Road, they were closed on a Friday night, so I'm really not sure if they are still around, but they were by far the best option on this side that I had stumbled on.

Pizza, Spinach Kase, Hoptimus, and a Cascade from Richo's did just fine.

Sounds like a much better option anyway!

Tucker's wings are decent and I also like Beef O'Brady's wings. I also had some at Sam's that were decent as well. There aren't huge varieties at these places, but decent Buffalo wings.
