Ice Cream Factory gone renegade (tsk tsk)

Tried to go there yesterday for a monte cristo sandwich and chocolate covered ice cream cone, but they were closed down! They failed to pay taxes and the government took over the property.

A shame...

Also, Golden Dragon is closed. It is now an allergist office. They've changed stuff around there. Herman's was closed to, but that wasn't a huge surprise.

OH NO! I love the Ice Cream Factory! I have fond memories of going there as a little girl with my grandpa after seeing movies at the Village 8, and I always loved that the place stayed exactly the same. It was like stepping back in time going in there. I've been worried for a while that it would close. Boo.

Well... that certainly is sad. I too had many fond memories of the place from childhood through college.
