Fabulous Food Show...Now THIS would be cool

by Steve P » Sat Nov 14, 2009 3:08 pm

Stumbled on this article while reading the online Cleveland Plain Dealer...A Fabulous Food Show. Sure wish L'ville would have one of these <sigh> Maybe when the new arena opens.

http://www.ohio.com/news/break_news/69991807.html

The Fabulous Food Show opened today at the I-X Center in Cleveland, with hundreds of vendors offering samples and demonstrations, plus wine, chefs, books and displays. Beacon Journal food writer Lisa Abraham and videographer Michael Chritton visited the show to give you a taste of what's being offered.

Food Network chefs appearing this year at the Main Kitchen Theatre are Sandra Lee, Tyler Florence, Guy Fieri, Michael Symon and Bobby Flay.

There's also a Grand Tasting Pavilion for sampling wine, spirits and beer; Restaurant Row, where area chefs are selling their specialty foods and providing cooking demonstrations; Sweet Street for chocolate demonstrations and tastings; a Taste of the Neighborhood Stage, for local chefs; and a Market Place featuring more than 200 vendors.

Tickets are $25, but discounts are available. The show opens at 10 a.m. each day and closes at 8:30 Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

For a complete schedule of events, visit http://www.fabulousfoodshow.com. The I-X Center is at 1 I-X Center Drive, Cleveland, next to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Maybe we should do an off line up there next year. I know I have marked in on my calendar and intend to go on up.
