Large group-dinner downtown ideas. . .

by Brad Keeton » Thu Nov 12, 2009 1:17 pm

I'm soliciting suggestions here.

On December 11 (Friday), my employer is having our annual holiday party, however, this year it will be in our office and a bit earlier. Some of us younger attorneys are beginning to plan an "afterparty" of sorts, which would preferably comprise dinner at one of the restaurants downtown.

We would likely number somewhere between 20 and 30, and are amenable to either eating in a dining room or in a private room. We would like to avoid any rental charges, minimum's, etc., however.

Ideas?

*If anyone associated with any of the downtown restaurants wishes to extend an invitation, please feel free to PM me rather than responding here.

Thanks.

Z's and Proof are the first 2 that came to mind. I know Z's has a private room, but I don't know about Proof. I enjoy the atmosphere at Proof's bar over Z's.

Browning's has a private room and the old Park Place space, 515-0174 or PM Paula B. BBC Taproom hosts events like yours all the time but would require catering the food 584-BREW.

Saffron has an attractive room and I don't think they charge any room rental. Full Bar
