by Robin Garr » Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:51 am

This just in ...

Thursday, June 14, Dave Razzano of Rubicon Estate winery (formerly Niebaum Coppola) in Napa will host a five-course wine dinner at Cafe Metro. The program begins at 7:30 p.m., and dinner with wine is $70 a person. The featured wine is Coppola Director's Cut Zinfandel, which is a limited production, highly allocated wine unavailable at retail stores.

They changed the name of the place to Rubicon Estate, so it's interesting Cafe Metro is promoting it with the old name.

Oops ... that's my fault, not Metro's, Jay. I changed it to what I thought it still was ...

Google still lists it as Niebaum Coppola, and the Website is still http://www.niebaum-coppola.com/

But the news is on their first page (Rubicon Estate, formerly Niebaum Coppola), and I read right past it. D'oh! I'll edit the original.
