This evening, the Kentucky Chapter of the American Culinary Federation is hosting it's annual Menu Trends presentation, hosted by Chefs Jerry Ludwig, CEC and Robert Granberg, CEC.
This event is open to non-members as well as members, and is an informative presentation showcasing Chicago as the center of current American menu and food trends.
All attendees will receive a complimentary buffet featuring some of the items showcased in the presentation, as well as menu scans and a CD of the images used in the presentation.
If you are unfamiliar with the ACF, this is an excellent opportunity to attend a large event and get to know some of what we do as an organization.
Te event begins at 6 PM at the GFS Distribution Center in Shepherdsville, although Chef Robert Granberg is recommending guests arrive closer to 5:30 for nametag pickup and the delicious antipasto and gourmet cheeses to be offered prior to the meeting.
As an added fun bonus, anyone who wants to take a tour of this pretty amazing distribution facility is invited to do so at the completion of the meeting. It's impressive to see how that much food makes it to where it should every day.
