Robin,

Are you changing the domain name of the forum? Last night it came up WLDG.com, now it appears to be back to wineloverspage.com.

Charles, to the best of my knowledge, I haven't changed anything. WLDG.com is the acronym for WineLovers Discussion Group, and we created the alternate domain as a sneaky way to get there (and here) for those afflicted by NetNanny software. I don't know of any reason why it should have stopped working, though.

What changed is that when I got "reply" notices from the board yesterday they were listed as WLDG in the email. Today it's back to wineloverspage.com. That's more precisely what I meant.

Very puzzling, Charles. Is there any chance that yesterday you logged in to the alternative domain name, perhaps using a different bookmark? I don't THINK it's anything we did on this end.

Charles, me too! Honestly, nothing has changed on the forum software or operating system as far as I know. The only thing I can think of is that in your visit last night you clicked on a different bookmark than usual and entered the forum through the WLDG gateway rather than the WineLoversPage.com route.

I didn't know that WLDG existed until I saw it in the "reply" link.

Charles, I'm at a loss. Actually, the www.wldg.com/forum/hotbytes link USED to work, but it does not work with the current software iteration, so that idea is out the window.

Bottom line, I have no idea. As long as it doesn't break anything, I guess it's not a real problem, but you (and others) might let me know if it happens again, and I can report it to the techs just so they can look into the error log and see if it means anything.
