Oregon Winemakers dinner @ Lillys

by David DuBou » Thu Oct 29, 2009 7:09 pm

That's right...it's not a typo...Winemakers...as in 5 of them.
A very special family style wine dinner with 5 winemakers where every table will have a different winemaker at the table for each course!

And the event is proceeded and followed by a Grand Tasting!

The Lilly's "Oregon Road Show" Wine Dinner
Friday, November 6th

After 20 years of importing and distributing wines from around the globe, Vintner Select has expanded to Oregon wines. To celebrate in Louisville, Vintner Select has partnered with Lilly's for a one-night-only family-style dinner featuring representatives from five of Oregon's finest wineries.

The evening will begin at 6:30 pm with a grand tasting where guests can sample wines from all five wineries. Afterwards, chef Kathy Cary and her culinary team will present five courses featuring fresh and local produce. A representative or winemaker sitting at the table will pair two carefully selected wines from their portfolio to perfectly complement the dish. Guests will be able to engage in lively discussion about the making of wine while tasting from that specific Oregon winery. At the end of each course, the winemakers will rotate seats to give individual attention to the next table.

Due to the intimate nature of the event, seating is very limited and reservations are required.

The cost of the evening is $85, plus tax and gratuity.

Reservations can be made by calling 502 451-0447.
