Encyclopedia of Pasta - Oretta Zanini De Vita

Has anyone read (or won) this book? (The book was just released in English, does anyone own the Italian version?)

I saw the book on Amazon and was going to purchase it, but I wanted to check with the experts before I spent my money.

Unless it gets horrible reviews, I'm going to buy it. I'll post my thoughts, opinions and impressions here when I get it.

Thanks,

Steve

Yep...that's where my curiousity about the book started. Then I checked on Amazon. Now, I'm asking my foodie friends about it.

Thanks,

Steve

I saw it at Barnes and Noble today. Go in and take a look for yourself.

I've got nothing to contribute on the Encyclopedia of Pasta, but my go-to for Italian cooking of any sort is The Silver Spoon. Hundreds or more recipes covering all types of Italian cooking, as well as nice descriptions of different kinds of pasta, cooking methods, tools and utensils, etc. It is a fantastic resource.
