smoothies

on a recent trip to santa barbara, i got addicted to waking up each morning and going for a fresh fruit smoothie at a place called 'blenders in the grass.' fresh fruit with your choice of supplements and for about four dollars. i was wondering if anyone has advice on where to find this type of smoothie bar in louisville? i have tried smoothie king but was disappointed to see that they use mostly powders rather than fresh fruit.

according to their website (Smoothie King) they use fresh fruit:

Here’s what makes us the King. Our cool, thick and creamy Smoothies are blended with real fruit, natural juices and our revolutionary enhancers. They come in tons of flavors and functions designed to meet your tastes or nutritional goals.

Good luck getting a four dollar smoothie at the St. Matthews Smoothie King...I got the smallest size Caribbean Way (Papaya/Banana/Strawberries) and it cost me five dollars...The same smoothie only cost four dollars at the Highlands Smoothie King...Go figure...Of course when you factor in the outrageous cost of petrol and with me being a Lyndon resident...that Highlands smoothie would probably cost me two dollars more...Hmm...Perhaps it's time for me to invest in a good blender...
