Abbey Road on the River and all I can get is a Coors Light?

by Todd Antz » Sun May 27, 2007 8:41 am

I went to Abbey Road on the River last night. Vending wise you had all the trappings of a county fair. The usual food, and unfortunately, the usual drinks. Coors Light, Killians, Blue Moon (at a higher price) and some varieties of Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Maybe its asking too much for a better beer selection, but I know they can do better. Let's see, the Beatles were from England, would it be difficult to try and serve a couple British beers? Or tuck a small vending cart in the back corner of the venue that had a couple better choices?

I thought they had a wine garden last year or year before? They were also lacking somewhat in Port-a- Potties. Great music, though, just really glad we had dinner at a nice place and didn't have to have any of the crap they had there.

We decided to get a room at the Galt House, full bar in tow for a fun Beatles weekend. No worries, just the way we like it!
