I have found it extremely useless.

I know a couple of wedding coordinators who use it and like it, but like Leah I find it pretty useless. I never signed up to be listed, yet I get emails all the time from people looking for venues to hold events. (So it might be useful for you.) But my place only seats 50, and we do wedding cakes and dessert catering... I tried to get on and edit the listing so I stopped getting so many useless emails, but as far as I could tell the site wanted money for me to so much as correct the listing... Then again, I didn't take a lot of time to look around and figure it out.
