Big Grill For a Wedding In Bardstown?

by JimmyShaw » Fri Sep 25, 2009 9:35 am

I'm looking for some suggestions.

Me and my fiance are planning our wedding for September 2010 and are looking to have a kind of
cookout style reception with one of those big tow behind grill/smokers. I've tried Baby G's in the Lyndon parking lot when he was there and was pretty impressed, but I haven't spoke to him about travelling south to Btown.
Just wondering if anyone knows of some places that can work a grill and would be willing to make the trip to cater.

Thanks for the help!

Pepperwood does some wonderful barbeque and other foods! They do a lot of catering and have a large degree like you're talking about. Here's their website: Pepperwood Catering

That link is for Pepperwood Catering .... Portland/Vancouver. A little far away.

Kingsly can do what you want. I have been to a few functions they catered. However they have a reputation for being expensive.

I would be confident that Will at the Westport General Store can also do what you want and maybe a little more reasonable. His restaurant turns out some great food.

Just shows how much you can trust Google!

Here's what came up when I do a search for their website:

And that's where I got the link I inserted into my post!

Jimmy-

Bradley and I (Baby G's BBQ) have 4 smokers including the log cabin that he had out in Lyndon. We are willing to travel to Bardstown. We are located at 4912 Preston Hwy and 2018 Preston St. Our log cabin is at 4912 Preston. Come by and try some more BBQ! If that was good in Lyndon, you should see what we can do for your wedding! References available...

Studio's has access to just that type of smoker/grill. In fact next weekend (9th & 10th) New Albany is hosting a BBQ cook-off which includes over 30 some teams.. That would be a great way to taste and talk with others.. Studio's location is 207 E. Main St. New Albany and our team will be the Studio's Hog Heaven Smokers! come by and talk with all the teams... you can probably get a great feel then for what you want
