Louisville Originals Gift Cert. Sale postponed til tomorrow

Just got back from a Louisville Originals meeting...

As has already been discovered, the website for the Louisville Originals Gift Certificate sale is not working. Unfortunately, this is due to a problem with the server. We have been gauranteed that it will be back up tomorrow morning, so the sale will begin then (Thursday, September 24th).

There is no sale on October 23rd. This was a mistake that had gone out. A correction email should have been sent to everyone that is a Rewards Member. Sorry for any confusion.

Also, beginning in October, you can earn double points for eating at your favorite Louisville Originals restaurant the first Tuesday of every month.

P.S. Sweet Surrender is now a member of Louisville Originals!

And what does this mean for the six certificates that I printed out today. And for all of the other people that did the same. It was working for me, although there were a few failed attempts which I attributed to the a large number of people trying to access the site.

The email I received from the PowerCard support staff said that they would begin on Thursday, with the remaining certificates that had not been charged. I got screwed because I had five in my cart! If you printed out your certificates, you should be fine.

All gift certificates that were purchased today before the server crashed are still valid. Since the server crashed so early in the day, they are restarting it at 10am for the remaining ones that are still available.

Rot of Ruck in Honoruru - So I just tried to log on and guess what popped up on my screen - "This webpage is not available." or alternately "Opps! This link appears to be broken." What a mess!

I was thinking about never going to a Louisville Original restaurant again, but that would be cutting off my nose to spite my face and I couldn't live without patronizing Limestone and Seviche. However, I am beginning to understand why restaurants like Volare dropped out of the program.

I clicked through the Louisville Originals homepage and had no problems! Grabbed a $50 Rivue certificate for $35 so we can try their brunch!

Gayle, the sale did not start until 10am. Please give it one more try.
