Nice restaurant for Mom and her friends.

by Damon M Barnes » Wed Sep 23, 2009 11:17 am

Since I moved to Louisville my Mother and some of her friends come up to stay and go to St. James Art Festival. Last year they wanted to go to Vincenzo's and we had a great time there. Looking for some suggestions...I have thrown out Seviche, but I know there might be some in the group that are hesitant to try it. Le Relais was another one of my suggestions.

We would prefer to stay close to the Highlands, Downtown, or St. Matthews.

Thanks.

Seviche and Varanese away from downtown, Z's Fusion downtown.

If they dig the Italian, definitely Volare.

Proof on Main/21C since they love art. Two birds/One stone.

And I was wanting to come there for lunch, but I find it is only a "ladies lunch place"

Hey - it IS a great ladies' lunch place, but it's also a whole lot of other people's lunch place. Like the guys from My Morning Jacket, that eat there from time to time.

Wait a minute - maybe that makes it even MORE of a ladies' lunch place. In a good way!

What about Buck's? It's right next to the festival.
