Funny, but the Louisville Originals Newsletter - September 2009 says

The Louisville Originals discounted Web Certificates will go on sale Wednesday, October 23rd at 10:00 AM EDT. Look for the link on our website at

Of course, October 23 is a Friday.

I have gotten this error twice:

I got the same email, Gayle, as I'm sure everyone did who subscribes. I'm hoping it hasn't been a cluster, from a PR point of view. Still patiently waiting for October 23, 2009.

The link in the email simply does not work.

Yah, I've been trying to go there for a while today ... the link will not work. I tried at work, and now at home. Two different computers, and I thought my work computer was the problem, because it's ancient, but my macbook pro that isn't even a year old can't get it to work, either.

I believe that the sale IS supposed to be going on today. But the site is clearly NOT working. I am about to head to a Louisville Originals meeting, and I will let them know what's going on.

Also, wanted to let everyone know that Sweet Surrender is now a member of Louisville Originals. Come eat dessert and earn points...

I received a corrected email saying it was Sept 23 at 10:00 am. I started trying the link at 9:55. The sale started at 10:02 by my clock. I received a few error messages but got on and got what I wanted. I believe the site was overwhelmed by the number of attempts. By 10:09 all of the more popular ones were sold out.
