High Five for Sweet Surrender

by Jessie H » Thu Sep 17, 2009 4:05 pm

i just wanted to share that i visited sweet surrender last night with my bf and another couple. we ordered 2 slices chocolate chip chocolate cake, a slice of manhattan cake, and a slice of turtle cheesecake. we were all more than satisfied with our dessert and each tried a bite of the others. we all agreed that each cake was delicious. the lady at the counter last night was helpful. we had never been before and the cakes in the case were not labeled (which is the only thing i would change). we asked a lot of questions about each cake as we decided which to try. our coffees were steaming hot and served to us promptly, along with an ice cold glass of whole milk and four enormous slices of cake. two of us had to take half our slices home for later. all in all, sweet surrender was totally satisfying and i just wanted to shoot them a virtual high five! keep up the good work!
chi mangia bene, viva bene.
