Cheese or Font ?- a game to test your cheese knowledge

by Deb Hall » Sat Sep 12, 2009 2:53 pm

I thought this was original, silly idea for foodie game; to my chagrin I got most of them wrong. :D

How did you do?

Love it! I didn't keep count ... I kept waiting for it to end and give me a score, and finally gave up when it started repeating itself. I'd say I got about two-thirds of them right, but I may be favoring myself with that guess. I do know a little about cheese and fonts. Mary is a fonts guru ... I'll bet if we teamed up on this we'd get most all of 'em.

Annemarie-
LOL. :D A font is the type of typeface used in printing- like Times Roman, Arial, Garamond, etc that you using in a word processing document. It's what determines what the letters look like.

Love it too, but it would be better if it was a set number of questions and then you can get the result. I probably got about 50%. Cheese is my fave food.

Very interesting test, it is amazing how similar a lot of the names are. I got 60 to 70% correct because I knew some of each (probably more of the cheeses).

Shameless!

I actually got most of mine right, but I'm not going to pretend it was because I knew what I was talking about even half the time. I'm just pretty good at multiple choice tests. :D

I wonder what factors lead to that. I'm very good at multiple-choice tests, too; fill-in, not so much, but when I see the correct answer in a list it jumps right out at me. Made it easy to ace the SATs, GREs, etc., but somehow I didn't feel nearly as smart as my good-guess numbers indicated.

It is rather surprising that no one has made a font called Fontina. I also had the same problem of being asked the same question multiple times and never being given results . . .
