Schnitzelburg events-yard sale on Sept. 12, Walk on Sept. 26

by Jesse Hendrix-Inman » Thu Sep 10, 2009 9:47 am

Just wanted to remind everyone that the fall Schnitzelburg Walk will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26. The early birds usually get started around 6 p.m., and everyone has to be off the streets by 11:30 p.m. There will be the usual great food, including rolled oysters and oyster shooters from Flabby's, and live music at several locations. This is a neighborhood block party located on Hickory Street between Burnett and Ash, stretching from the Zeppelin Cafe to the All Wool Yard Wide Demoratic Club.

Also, this Saturday, Sept. 12 is the annual neighborhood yard sale on the corner of Burnett and Texas. There's always lots of bargains to be had. 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
