Is there a reason why they don't have pepperoni? Or any Salami on the "Build Your Own" menu? There is only one item on the menu with Salami, the Italian Po' Boy. This all seems pretty un-deli-like to me. In my opinion, Salami and Pepperoni are the cornerstones of a good italian sub.

Robin Garr wrote:Mark, there are as many Italian delis in NYC as there are Jewish/kosher delis. Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but if you don't think Italian delis are New York delis, you never saw our neighborhood in Queens.

Hebrew National (They answer to a higher authority.)
This is not your typical hard salami, like Genoa....but it is pretty darned tasty.
I'd like to find some Hebrew National salami, I havent seen any in my travels around L'Ville.

Steve
