I'm afraid there's some sort of mis-communication in this press release, as well as the other press release you posted last month, Robin (and would say that the problem is entirely in the press release, not in your posting of them).

The Patron is open for calendered events, including dinner on Wednesday and Friday, and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday is their regular Wax on Wednesday event, with $12 12" pizzas, $12 bottles of wine, $3 beers, and music by DJ Kim Sorise. Friday is their Burgers. Beers. Beats. event with $3 BBC Nut Brown Ale on Tap, $1 Shlitz in a can, $8 Burgers, and music by DJ Kim Sorise. Saturday is their Bossa Nova Brunch, with music again by DJ Kim Sorise. Sunday is a regular brunch service, and in addition the Patron has a booth at the Rainbow Blossom Farmers Market from 12 to 4 PM on Sundays.

I'm not writing in any official capacity for the restaurant, but I do know that they are open -- and have been for the past few weeks -- with this schedule.

Joel,

I agree. The first press release confused me too. Especially since I have seen them open on the weekends.

Thanks for the clarification, Joel! The press release left some room for reading between the lines, and I guess I didn't read it right.

That said, I'm glad the Patron did not fully close, as the original announcement made me fear.
