Beijing...Indiana, that is

I have been to Beijing Grill and Sushi Bar in Sellersburg twice now. Once for take out and once for lunch.
During these visits, I tried the Spicy Tuna sushi roll, Princess Beef, General Tzo Chicken and Mongolian Beef. I ordered a beef dish for the second time because their beef is so tender and even slightly pink in the middle. The General Tzo's was not the classic extreme sweet sauce. It was red and spicy, but not sticky sweet. The chicken was not overly fried or tough. All dishes were very good. Made to order. No steam trays. The Spicy Tuna Roll had a lot of tuna with moderate spice. A little too much rice in the roll for my taste. I would order it again, though. The female sushi chef made a point of telling me that she makes each roll fresh. I watched her chop the tuna and then mix it with the spicy sauce.

The menu offers Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. They have lunch and dinner menus. Lunch entrees run around $5.00 with choice of egg roll, crab rangoon, or soup. We ordered the dinner entrees at lunch time, which were $8.95 for choice of egg roll or crab rangoon, and soup: won ton, egg drop, and sweet/sour. We really enjoyed the crab rangoon. NOT GREASY!

I think Beijing is one of the best choices on our side of the river. I can email the take out menus if anyone wants one. The menus in the restaurant are much more descriptive than the take-out menu.
