So, how did the Zombie Walk on Bardstown Road affect business?

The last couple of Bambi Walks I've been on would likely qualify...

From Wikipedia:

"an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Usually taking place in an urban centre, the participants make their way around the city streets and through shopping malls in a somewhat orderly fashion and often limping their way towards a local cemetery or other public space (a series of taverns in the case of a zombie pub crawl)."

There were hundreds of folks dressed like zombies, out on Bardstown Road at least from Eastern up to Grinstead. They were very pleasant and having a good time, but also blocked Bardstown Road traffic from moving for a long time.

If they would just have done the "Thriller" dance in tribute to Michael Jackson, it would have made my week. What else are you going to do when you are dressed up like a zombie?

Someone at Skyline Chili had Thriller blasting loud, but I saw no organized dance.

We drove Bardstown Road last night and saw
about 100 people in the bright pink shirts doing the Bambi Walk;
maybe 50 runners in shorts and numbers;
hundreds and hundreds of zombies.

It was fab! Only on Bardstown Road. We just happened upon it all and were having a great time people and zombie watching.

They did do the Thriller Dance. Once at Heine Bros at Eastern and again in front of Sky Line Chili. It was well orchestrated. I witnessed zombies appear seemingly out of no where from down Eastern Parkway crawling up the sidewalk and on to the grass where startled coffee drinkers were watching the other zombies across the street by Qdoba. There was a few moments of zombies playing and eating brains then the Thriller music started and a small group of them jumped up and started the dance. It was very entertaining and a lot of fun.
I'm not sure how business was affected, but the windows of The Bristol were covered in zombie blood and guts. It was a fun event.

We were in a big group at a front window table at Seviche last night. Food was great, and the street show was hilarious!

Same walking vibe in downtown NA last night:

Two great weekends in a row for downtown NA: First the Kentuckiana Celtic Fest, then the beer walk.

Saw some of it from Uptown, and it was great! (Last year viewed it from Jarfi's, in the old Lentini's)

Also, saw Heywood Banks at Comedy Caravan, and they started the show 30 minutes late as people couldn't move on Bardstown Rd! (If you've never seen him, he's WONDERFUL - two key food-related songs are "I Love Toast" and "Big Butter Jesus").
