We met up with 10 other friends last night at the BBC on Theater Square. We sat outside and every enjoyed the evening, even with the drunk guy who kept coming around the patio area after being run off by BBC staff. I'm sure they get tired of that sort of thing, but it really didn't bother us.
Reportedly the margaritas were quite tasty, and several of us can vouch for the fresh brewed root beer. Good stuff, but sweet, so I had to control how much I had. But goooood. I had the spinach, dried cherry, goat cheese salad with candied pecans and balsamic vinagrette. Quite good and humongous. There was the equivalent of a pound bag of spinach in that bowl, I think. Several people near me got various burgers and sandwiches with the garlic fries, which certainly smelled yummy. Hubby got a vegetarian pizza--a thin crust pie with spinach, broccoli, fresh tomatoes, roasted garlic and pesto instead of red sauce, covered in cheese. I only got some today for lunch after it went thru the microwave, and it was still very tasty and a bit different than what we usually get.
I think we only spent about $26 including a tip, but I might have misunderstood hubby, as all the gals were off taking group pictures.
And we got 8 separate checks for the table of 12.
