Sunday drive for a snack/dessert .....

NOT a meal..... The weather is so nice and i am wanting to go for a nice drive with the family. Hopefully towards somewhere that we can get some ice cream, lemonade, or iced tea. I do not want to go sit in a restaurant.... any suggestions........

i know there was a thread about this earlier...... but i didnt see it.......

berry twist i have not heard of.......where is that....

i need to look up where polly freeze is, if it is in Sellersburg, that's too close, i was wanting to drive at least 30 minutes.....

I want some nice country scenery... KY is ok, i dont mind crossing the river......

can you tell i need a break?!!?

They are all pretty much the same in my opinion. I ordered them in distance from Louisville, depending on the driving distance you are wanting.

Spent part of the day boating w/friends on Rough River Lake, and stopped at Graeter's Ice Cream on the way home...their Peach ice cream was a near-perfect end to an enjoyable day....

We ended up going to Berry Twist in New Albany. We really didn't like it..... it was ok, but really prefer the hand-dipped flavors and taste at Mom and Pop's. They definitely have a nice area there for seating though......

You should have gone to my place A.J.'s Gyros To Go. We do a lot of hand scooped flavors, cherry fudge cordial is our biggest seller and our espresso shakes are the best you will ever have.

Alison, is your place the same as A.J.'s Coffee and Cream? Where are you located? what are your hours? Our family favorites are butter pecan and mint chocolate chip..... do you carry those? i have a bunch of questions maybe i should search for some info online.... lol....

I love to ride to claudia sanders in shelbyvellive on my motorcycle. On a beautiful sunday afternoon it is worth the short drive outside of the city to indulge in some home cooking.
