Steamed Clams

Who has steamed clams? Anyone on the Eastend of Louisville? Saveral restaurants have 1/2 price wine on Sunday. That would be wonderful tonight with steamed clams! :P

Do you mean clams? If so, I think Rumors in Middletown has them.

Rumors has steamed oysters, and frequently has steamers also (call to be sure)

Mitchell's Seafood in the Summit has steamed mussels and steamer clams, but again I'd be tempted to call first to be sure they're available

It's a chain, but I have had some good steamers at Hooter's.

I forgot about Mitchell's Seafood in the Summit. They have great clams. Z's does too but the drink prices are soooooo high!

I will strongly second Z's Oyster Bar for the Steamed Clams. Wednesday is the best day to catch the freshest product possible and I will say that they are very good. It is possible to eat "affordably" at Z's and have a lovely evening.
