Varanese Celebrating 2nd Anniversary

Please join us Thursday August 20th as Varanese Restaurant celebrates its 2nd Anniversary. We will be featuring 1/2 price drink specials and appetizers all night long. We are very proud to be a part of Louisville's restaurant community and want to show our thanks for all your support for the past two years.

Congrats to Chef John and Varanese on two great years! A friend of mine e-mailed me last week and said she had dinner at "a new favorite restaurant, but I have to see you in person to tell you about it." It was Varanese, and I was so happy and proud!

congrats on the two year mark, i hadn't realized that the CPC is only slightly older than Varanese

I absolutely love Varanese and it continues to be my local number 1 destination for a great dinner

i have always had fantastic service and exceptional food, the atmosphere is perfect, the jazz is lovely, and i consistently am surprised by John's ability to make me love things that i have previously hated (like grits)

i raise my glass in a toast to many more anniversaries for Varanese

Grilled Jerk Spiced Halibut Served over a Cassava Hash Cake with a Mango-Papaya Salsa
, the fish was cooked perfectly, my first experience with cassava and it was great, and of course the salsa was a nice compliment to both

Bourbon Barrel Smoked Salmon with Bi-Colored Penne Pasta Tossed with Baby Spinach, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Capers In a Goat Cheese Cream Sauce
- yes it was everything it was cracked up to be and more
