Joe Huber's in Saveur

Joe Huber's restaurant was mentioned as outstanding in their use of locally grown products in September's issue of Saveur.

Although I have not been to Huber's in years.....and years, I think this is pretty amazing as Saveur is a national publication and soooo many restaurants are striving to do the locally grown thing. I think they only mentioned about 6 or 8 restaurants across the nation in the sidebox I'm referring to.

Ahhhh, that explains my recent lunch there. Their "German Reuben Sandwich" had loads of probably locally sourced slaw with two really itty bitty slices of Corned Beef between two slices of decent rye bread. More like a slaw sandwich than a Reuben.
