Jack Fry's (Spicy oysters w/ grits)
Cafe Beignet and The Cafe (breakfast)

211 Clover Ln- they always change and it's always exceptional
L & N- Terrific food, stellar service and the wine program always has some new surprises (by the glass or 1/2 glass, no less)
Red Pepper- My favorite authentic ethnic choice
Z's Oysterbar- Was my fave chophouse even before I was employed by the company
Social and Proof- After work and cocktails

Seviche, of course!

Although to be on honest, I'm a student on a budget so I am not able to go to Seviche as much as I would like.

Some others would be:

Bristol Bar & Grill
Zen Garden Tea House
Shalimars
Alley Cat Cafe
Safier
Gasthaus
Irish Rover

Oh, Justine, I'm so glad to see someone else give an "atta girl" for the Alley Cat Cafe.

My favorite "go to" restaurants are
Volare (I am still missing their Sunday brunch.)
Saffron (whenever I am downtown and hungry)
Seafood Connection (for lunch)
Alley Cat(for lunch)
Z's Fusion (for supper before Actors' Theatre)

Not that there aren't plenty of others but those are the ones I head to when I'm not sure what I want to eat.

I'd add Seviche, but right not I am limiting my self to their Latino Wine Dinners. (I've only missed one.)

Damn, I hate this town. There are so many really great restaurants and I am trying so hard to keep my girlish figure. It would be so easy to eat, eat, eat.

Yes! I really think that Alley Cat Cafe gets unfairly overlooked by a lot of people. Sure, it is a simple place but I think their panini's are some of the best I have ever had. Especially the Roma panini with the melted Brie cheese on the Kalamata Olive bread. Simply delicious and affordable!

I like Varanese an awful lot....Just went there again last night, celebrating a friends birthday and the food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. It has been consistently good every time I've dined there and should be included in any list of "go-to' places.
