Lasagna does deserve its own day! Makes me miss Melillo's ...

If you venture to a restaurant for lasagna, please tell them KRA sent you, and ask if they're KRA members!

I would hope that every local restaurant represented here would support KRA, and that those eligible would support Louisville Originals. These worthy organizations make a difference on the local dining scene, especially when economic times are tough.

Nice. We already had plans to go to Le Gallo Rosso tonight - look's like I'm getting the lasagna.

See. Now there ya go. Who would have thunk it...National Lasagna Day. Figures I'm still stuck out here in OKC for a couple of more days...But hey, I bet some of these Tex-Mex gut bomb Taco joints that dot every freaking corner are on board with this. Ya Think ?

<sigh> Da**...Now I've got the Lasagna jones going and really can't wait to get back home.

BTW, Steve-Oh's in Buckner puts out some pretty darn good Lasagna. Best I've ever had ? Nope but still purt darn good.

Thanks Robin! I feel like a constant commercial for KRA, so it's nice to read someone else's words! We're the only organization watching restaurant issues 24/7 in Kentucky and working so the entire restaurant industry survives and thrives.

FYI...July 30th is National Cheese Cake Day. Oh and the month of July has been brought to you as "National Hot Dog Month".

You beat me to it, Steve! A whole day for cheesecake! It's also Salad week, by the way. Yesterday was milk chocolate day. So many foods, so little time!

We went to a friends for dinner this evening and she served us Lasagna without even knowing it was National Lasanga Day. She was very pleased when she found out it was since it was her first ever attempt at the dish (btw it was GREAT!).
