We had lunch Saturday at the new Middletown location. They had just opened the previous evening. DID is located in the old Farrows building where Moe's had been. For newcomers, this means on the Anchorage side of Shelbyville Road just before Evergreen Road. The menu has a few new items such as fried oysters. The food is just as good as before with perhaps the best fried chicken in town. The dining area is about 3 or 4 times larger with high ceilings. The steam table remains as before. Catrina has now moved from J-town where Maggie's is now to Ruckreigel Parkway to Middletown.
