Do take note that it's only a one-week deal, though.

Looks like Rick and I may head up either Thursday or Friday to try this out.
I've heard good things already about Dragon King's from other foodies that don't post here. Many are skeptical about the pizza, but I heard two say it was awesome.
I'm always up for sushi!!!

I partook of the sushi buffet at the Offline gathering today and really enjoyed it. If your like me you can easily spend 15 bucks on a couple of rolls so I thought this quite the bargain. The sampling of treats that were available was quite good. I really liked the Citrus Heat roll. The only small complaint I had (and this is a very small one) is that I would have liked to have had some nigri sushi available as well. But the new sushi chef needs the practice from what I understand, because some of the rolls were a little uneven with the rice ratio. but that shouldn't keep anyone away from this tasty lunch option for the next week!

Hey, guys! I can't find a menu for here online yet.
For those of you that have been, is there anything that non sushi eating kids will eat? I know I could just get them a bowl of rice and pick up something later, but I'd like to think there is something there to feed them?

Think we are going up today for lunch (prob around 12:30 or so).

Trisha, it's very ethnic, a funny mix of Japanese tradition with American touches, but there are no burgers or anything like that. Yesterday they had an egg drop soup that any kid should love, and at least one dish served at the offline - Karaage Chicken Wings ($7), crisply breaded in panko and fried, were about as good as any wings I've ever eaten. If your kids like wings, they'll like them. The fried vegetable gyoza are like fried wontons, easy for kids to like, but do note that the fried stuffed wontons have jalapeños in them and might be too spicy for youngsters. Bottom line, depending on how picky your kids are, they ought to be able to find something - and I'm sure Toki and the staff will be glad to advise you. But adventurous youngsters would probably have a better time, because most of the food is "ethnic" and quite a few of the items are spicy. Personally, I've been twice and I LOVE it, but I haven't been a kid for quite a few years. ;)

My youngest (5) will try anything. He isn't the problem. My 7 year olds (2 of them) are a bit pickier. Chicken is always a good bet though. Thanks!!!

Trisha, we went for lunch yesterday. Although we all participated in the sushi buffet, their menu looked very interesting. They had a large section of tacos and a whole page of pizzas. As Robin mentioned I believe that the ingredients in these typical kid-favorites were a little adventurous. I'm sure that they would be willing to attempt to accommodate your picky eaters. By the way we also really enjoyed the Citrus Heat roll and the Frosty Sunshine roll (?).

FINALLY, made it today.

LOVE what they did with the old Karma building. Bright and light.

Just my boyfriend and I went. I'm kind of glad we didn't take the kiddos. It would be a hard menu to feed my twins off of.

Started with soup of the day which was tomatoe and celery for him. Not too fond of it. Mostly celery. Lacked spice. I had the lemongrass miso soup. LOVED it!

We picked the buffet as well as ordered the tuna takaki (sp?) pizza. The buffet was ok. You can tell the sushi making is definitely a work in progress. Nothing bad, just nothing really memorable. Most of the sushi lacked any real "meat". Alot of it had tempura asparagus (I think) in it or the fake crab. I had one that had salmon on it that I liked. I also really did like the Italian fusion one with the basil and proscuitto. It was different.

Now....let's talk about this pizza. We LOVED the pizza. Tender crust topped with spring mix, red onion, fried garlic slices, avocado slices, seared (but cold) tuna, and a yummy sauce. We will definitely be stopping back by just because of the pizza. It was sooooo good. It was light but filling. We actually took some of it (because it was a very good size) to a friend on the way home. A definite hit.
