I think I'm addicted to DakShin...

by Michelle R. » Fri Jul 24, 2009 11:22 am

My hubby and I went for dinner last night. We got chili mushrooms (probably the most delicious thing, EVER) and a bread basket as appetizers. I had the Dhani Murg (spelling probably wrong), which is chunks of chicken simmered in coriander gravy, and it was beyond delicious. I can't remember what my hubby had, but it was delicious as well.

We ended up taking most of the naan, and half of my dinner home (Lunch!). Every single time we go there, the food is amazing, and the staff are very friendly. I love this restaurant!

I want to go back, NOW. :?

Make that 3 of us. Between Al Watan and Dakshin I've got 2 addictions within a 3 mile radius of my apartment. I win.

Oh, and the gordita trailer! That's 3 addictions, thank god I'm on day 3 w/out cigarettes or else I'd be broke.

We have it bad as well. I've never had one thing I didn't love.

Add my applause to the chorus, although I'm particularly delighted, too, that Bombay Grill and, to some extent, Sitar, have also raised the bar for Indian in Louisville. I love DakShin for food and atmosphere, but I'd really have to flip a coin between it and Bombay Grill on any given day.
