Originally I was to have attended the farmers market/beer/wine dinner last night at the Windsor in New Albany, but instead, as a birthday present, the missus arranged to reserve spots at the Come Back Inn's wine dinner, as described by London above. I felt bad for missing the Windsor event, which I heard was quite good, but the evening at Come Back Inn was really marvelous.

I'll spare you the point by point, because everything was prepared wonderfully and the wine pairings seemed supurb to me, although I have little experience with wine dinners. The real point is that you shouldn't neglect this establishment as an option, whether for a few or for many. By pre-arrangement, I took 40+ of all ages into the Come Back Inn last Friday for our family reunion meal, and it was flawless in every respect, even with the rest of the place packed.

There are always good draft beers there, too.

These guys do great work, and I just wanted to sing their praises. You don't hear much about them, but you should.
