I'm more likely to believe the one Gloria came up with over the one Ron came up with because his has is one of the ingredients in that in itself has several other ingredients. I also don't think it was available when the original recipe was developed. I'm sure neither of these is the exact recipe but if they give close results who cares?

The Colonel's "Secret Recipe" remains exactly that...even Ron Douglas admits that his chicken recipe is his own and, at best, only similar to KFC's Original Recipe...who do these people think they're kidding?
