Boombozz Taphouse

by Damon M Barnes » Thu Jul 16, 2009 9:37 am

I went there last night for supper and the pizza was excellent. I had full intentions of trying one of the more creative creations but after seeing the "Nonna"(Italian Sausage, Prosciutto, Red Onions, Fresh Mozzarella, Asiago & Romano, with Pomodora Sauce and Fresh Basil) at the table next to me I HAD to have it. The beer list is also excellent from which I had a flight of beer with several interesting choices included. Finally, the ice bar was super cool!

Overall it is one of the better pizza places in Louisville and right there with Impellizzeri's, if not, a little better.

So has anyone else been there yet?

Damon, the consensus is that it's a strong addition to the local eats scene. There have been a LOT of recent discussions, though. Try a search on "Boombozz Taphouse" in the search block, and jump into some of the existing conversations. (When you reply to an older post, it will "resurrect" the topic back to the front page of the forum so others will see it.)
