What is it????????

by Bill Veneman » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:57 pm

I recently went to a nice place with a patio. Now, if it were 82 degrees or less, I would seriously consider al fresco. However it abou 90 and no breeze. I tend to be creature of the indoors.....being hot is not one of my more favorable traits. I don't go to outdoor events in the summer for that reason.

My friends think I'm nuts.....I just detest sweating.

My husband is the same way. He is an electrician so works and sweats all day long in HOT rooms. When i suggest going to A, B, or C if it is outside, he says: "i am outside sweating all day, why do i want to do that when i am off of work?"

i can understand it. A nice breeze helps, above 90 and it is no fun. But then again i come from wayyyyyyyy South Texas and heat around here is nothing compared to down there....for me that is.

We are exactly the opposite. While I can't say I love sweating, I actively search out places to eat outside whenever possible. And possible to me is less than 95 degrees with 100% humidity.

I'm with you Bill. I can't abide the heat at all. That nice cool spell we had a while back was very welcome, but now its starting to get too hot again and I'm heading back inside unless the sun is down.

I am not a big fan of the heat in the summer here either, but normally around 8:00 p.m. things seem to be pretty comfortable for just sitting down and eating. Just keep cold beer handy.
Unlike most of you, I am not a nut, but I do roast em.

I'm not fighting bugs for my dinner. Inside every time for me, please.
