Buck, what a great Southern gentleman he is. Full of charm and a really class act. He makes you feel like you are visiting an old friend everytime that you dine there. Best of luck Buck and enjoy your retirement, you've earned it.

Buck is wonderful gentleman and his presence will be missed at Buck's. As for the restaurant itself, i think it is overlooked frequently, and deserves a lot more local support.

Does anyone know if they've hired a replacement bartender yet, or if they're interested in someone else to fill some hours? I have a friend who works at the bar at Proof who is really creative and personable and looking for more hours. He's interested in applying if anyone has any more information. Thanks in advance.

Back in the 90's, I noticed their mix matched dishes and some of them were just like a set of mine from the 70's. Gas station bought! Probably a dollar a piece. I had them all boxed up in the basement and decided to give them to them.
I love dishes and it was hard to part with them but it made sense to give them a good home. Nice man. He gave me a note for dinner for two, but we never went back. Have gone there at lunch time for business lunch.
Happy Florida. I'm jealous.
