How is this place? Is Pita Delites better or worse?

Also, what is the name of it?

Do you mean the place across Highland Ave from Wicks? I THINK that is the Falafel House, and I have never been.

Omar's was on the other end of "Wick's row" but it has been closed for quite a while now and is currently BUNZ

I've gotten carry out from there many times over the yrs. They had a terrible start in my opinion, and I'm surprised at myself for repeated visits, but I really think it's improved in the last year. I was happy with the hummus / falafel / tabouleh plate I got there recently (tabouleh was very out of the ordinary, maybe more Greek than most places? - just a guess).

The last time I was there, I tried an olive oil and dried herb dip, and I can't remember what it was called. I tried to google it, but I can't find it. The name translates to "olive oil and ???" If I could remember the herbs (medicinal) I would probably be able to find it. Anyway, it was really interesting. The herbs DO NOT absorb the oil, so it's a grainy paste covered in a layer of oil. The texure reminded me of corn starch and water, but it was tasty and it's supposed to have good health benefits.

Falafal House is OK. Not familiar with Pita Delight. Zaytun's (Douglas Loop Area) is better than Falafal House.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

I had a gyros at The Grape Leaf on Frankfort Ave couple of days ago. Very big and good. Price ala carte was only 4.50.

Pita Delights is on Grinstead Dr right past the Wendy's. Haven't been for quite awhile, but was also good.

I've tried both the Falafel House (once) and Pita Delights (several times). I much preferred Pita Delights.
