Chef Nawab on Iron Chef America last night

I hadn't heard of him before until they mentioned that he was from Louisville in the intro. I did google him afterwards and read up on him. Opened his own restaurant in NY in 2008. Below are the epidsodes airing the rest of the week. I won't disclose who won in case someone may not want to know the outcome.

I older brother knew Akhtar in high school back in the late 80's. I think he did pretty damn good on the show.

I thought the show was entertaining. However, the final scores indicated it wasn't even close. Most scores I see on the show are much closer, this was kinda a blowout.

I had the pleasure of dining at his restaurant and meeting the humble but talented Chef Nawab last year. He has a very creative menu and it was three weeks old when we dined there. A definite place to check out if anyone does NYC.
