There is a farmers market on Bardstown rd. It is at the Presbyterian church 1722 Bardstown rd,from 8 to noon. There is also a farmers market in St Matthews at the Beargrass Christian church,4100 on 60(Shelbyville rd) with the same hours.

And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Are you better buying from the Farmer's Market then Creation Gardens? Thanks.

Does the Pope wear a funny hat? Of course its better to shop at the farmers market. Im not saying anything bad about Creation,I often get some stuff there, but you cant beat the farmers market. At the market you get interact with the producer and ask him/her questions about how the item was produced/raised. You often can find some really unique items that are not grown in enough quantity for a shop like creation. Most often the produce was picked the previous night or perhaps that morning. The markets often have other items as well as meat and produce....plants,herbs,cut flowers, soap, mushrooms, cheese ,jam, jelly, bread, tea, coffee as well as live music. If youre into promoting small business(as I know you are) its a no brainer to make your way over to one of the area markets. Its the ultimate as far as keeping it local.
