25¢ Ice Cream at Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen

Celebrate national ice cream month by joining us at all Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchens, Saturday July 18, from 12 noon until 4 p.m. We will host an old fashion ice cream social featuring our fresh churned ice cream for just 25¢ a scoop.

Any flavor, as many times as you wish to get in line for 25¢ a scoop. A family or group of 4 is just $1.

Thanks! It is a fun day with great ice cream for 25¢. We had several people see who could eat the most by traveling from store to store. The record was 7 stores and 7 scoops!

Yeah! I was hoping they would do this promotion again.

Just wanted to remind everyone of this. I know we are all in different situations, but times are tough for all right now and this is great. My family and i will go and enjoy ourselves tomorrow.

Does anyone have any suggestions on pie to get? We usually just get apple but i wanted to try something different.

Chocolate Chess is the one I like the best! But just a warning .... it is rich.....my hubby gets it heated with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yummmmm! I guess I know where we will get dessert today.

The chocolate cherry and strawberry rhubarb are both very good. So is the caramel apple. I usually end up with caramel cake, though. It's my all-time favorite.

Thanks for the compliment. We are now on our 4th year of doing this and it has turned out to be a great day. We have a great staff of some 160 people so we are appreciative of the compliments on our service.

We have the 25¢ day so we can bring back that fun memory of the good ole days! When it turns cold we will have $1 pie day.

Sadly, we arrived at the Bardstown location at 4:01 or 4:02 after finishing up the swim meet at U of L natatorium. The kids and I ran to get to the car but to no avail. The person behind the counter said that there was a timer in the back (my watch still showed 4:00) and that they couldn't make any exceptions because they would have to do it for others (there was no one else in line). We walked out without ice cream.
