Tacos Toreados

by John Hagan » Fri Jul 10, 2009 8:13 am

Does anybody know where he is setting up these days? If we have to pick favorites, Im still going with the Gordita trailer but he can be a bit out of the way at times. I thought I heard something about Toreados setting up in the Highland area.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Yeah, That thread was over a month ago. I was just wondering if anybody had any info that was current.

Juan, who often hangs out here, tells me that he's working on something (Bardstown Road!?) and promises to let the forum know as soon as there's news.

No, I haven't, and I feel bad about that. For some reason, there's a "parks get in the way of a straight-line drive effect" that make Gordita Trailer, DakShin and Sake Blue seem almost like too much of an expedition for me, which is pretty silly since I'm happy to run out to Springhurst and beyond or drive way up into Southern Indiana for something good to eat. But it takes a real effort of will to drive over to Buechel and Fern Creek even though Las Gorditas is actually only 9 miles from my house. Too much traffic or something. Mea culpa.

I live 5 minutes from Sake Blue and 10 to Dak Shin. These are two of only a few places in Fern Creek keeping me from going crazy.

Has Pat cut his hours?

I live right near that center, and he hasn't been there a few times recently, during times when he was previously there...

We were actually wondering about the Gordita Trailer. My husband was wanting some tacos the other night from the truck here in Clarksville, but we felt that it was more better to wait and get the ones from the Gordita Trailer. Is he still there now? Anything different going on there?

I looked up Pats number that he put up on one of the old threads about the Gordita trailer and gave him a call. I happy to report he will be there tonight as well as Saturday and Sunday. He said they try to set up by four. The number I found was 502-492-0112.
